ROBOTIZED CELL FOR THE CONTROL OF CNC LATHES

Our robotized system for the control of CNC lathes performs loading, loading/unloading, second-step, and any special work cycles.
There are different kinds of automation for Numerically Controlled Lathes, such as:
– Unloading system, where the robot removes the lathe processed pieces directly from the spindle or from the unloading arm that carries the pieces outside the lathe’s working area, or conveyor belt which carries off the machined parts from the lathe with item identification through a vision guided robot.
– Loading/unloading system with big conveyor belt, used for random manual operation, in order to obtain greater system loading autonomy and pieces identification by vision guided robot. With this system, the robot collects un-machined pieces from a conveyor belt with loading/unloading from single or double spindle lathe.
– Palletized feeding system for manual operator loading with established placement and fixed references. With this system, the robot collects the unprocessed parts from fixed positions on the pallet with loading/unloading from single or double spindle lathe.
– Palletized feeding system for manual operator loading with established placement and fixed references.
Lathe machined pieces may be unloaded in different ways, such as:
– Unloading on conveyor belt used for parts collection.
– Unloading with established placement onto traditional or screw conveyor machines for cleaning parts.
– Unloading onto two-level palletizer in collection container, where operators use the shelf outside the robotized cell to unload the machined parts in the containers with absolute safety, while the robot responsible for the palletized storage of the machined pieces use the shelf inside the robotized cell.

PRODUCTION
Easy processing of small and second-step lots, speed in changing items.
Work cycle is dependent on the machine tool used for the mechanical processing of parts.
