ROBOTIZED CELL FOR THE CONTROL OF COLD PRESS OR METAL BENDING MACHINES

Our robotized system for the control of Cold Press or Metal Bending Machines performs the following work cycles:

– Loading of metal sheet.
– Loading of semi-machined pieces.
– Loading of un-machined or semi-machined piece with unloading of the forget pieces.
– Unloading cycle of the forged piece because it is automatically fed (ex.: conveyor belt material feeding)
This system may be developed with as a set of robots working simultaneously on several Presses, allowing the transfer of the pieces which request multiple serial machining steps.
This robotized installation is also suitable for small lots machining thanks to its great flexibility and speed in changing items.
There are several systems employable with the control of Cold Press or Metal Bending Machines, such as :
– Loading system which consists in picking up semi-machined pieces or a metal sheet from a warehouse stacker and placing either directly in the mould of the press.
– Unloading system which consists in removing the forged piece directly from the mould of the press and placing it in a container even through a palletizer; raw pieces may be fed automatically such as feeding of the conveyor belt metal sheet.
– Loading/unloading system which consists in picking up a metal sheet from a veneer lathe storehouse and placing it in the mould of the press, and at the same time, removing the forged piece directly from the mould of the press, unloading it using a palletizer or on a piece changing unit, in case of several machining steps, that means with more robots.
